Don’t want to put a downer on it but the app is shocking, could really use a lot of work… Streams a crap bitrate stream and a far better approach is to just use StreamFurious and the standard WinAmp .pls file.
It is low bitrate so that it can be used on the Go.
Option for high and low then maybe?
These features are only available on the iPhone App. That features multiple streams and quality’s. We are only just getting to grips with the android OS.
I usually use Winamp Beta for Android but i am gonna try this and post my feedback as well!! I’m very happy you guys are finally supporting Android!

I haven’t downloaded this app yet, but there’s an unofficial Filth.fm app for it already in the droid market, you have to download adobe air and stream furious to run it but it works fine for me
That is an official app. We have replaced it with this one.
Really? i thought some dude jus made a filth.fm skin and put a link in there to stream it lol.. but still as long as i listen to you guys, its all good, no matter how it gets delivered via android phone

Yes, it is now at 96kbps and it sounds great!
yeah, the bitrate is a complete downer. I’ll give it another listen now you have improved the bitrate, but suggest to all you who are not happy with the quality of audio just grab the Winamp App and use that to stream Filth.FM in higher quality.
To bump the app to the next level would be the chatroom being available within the app, plus maybe being able to navigate through the site or at least have links to all the shows details etc.
Audio quality is much improved and it is only slightly lower quality audio as available from WINAMP app, but it does force close a little too much, as opposed to WINAMP which doesn’t ever force close.
Note: I’m using HTC Desire HD (brand spankin new)
Thanks for your comments, we have commissioned the design of a new app, which will have multiple streams and push notification when new DJS come on. We will have high and low quality streams available and much more! Sadly Evan, a chatroom is out of the question as the coding used to make the chatroom cannot be integrated into the Android. Regardless, we hope you look forward and anticipate the 2.0 update on the App!
Filth fm is also on the tunein radio app for android. getting a 192k MP3 stream. Bit heavy for 3G, so it just changed automatically to 96k MP3. http://www.appbrain.com/app/tunein-radio/tunein.player

There’s a fabulous app called TuneIn that works great, has plenty of different bitrate streams and tons of different music stations; DUBSTEP, drum and bass, techno, elctro, etc etc. ALSO HAS A DEDICATED FILTH.FM station. Available on Android and iPhone/iPad. The free versions works good, but for 99cents you can get the Pro version and you CAN RECORD your fave shows! Awesome. I already have that but just to support FILTH.FM, I will download the official FILTH app. Thank you for putting out great shows, 24/7!! Lovin that I can jam out at work, filthy style!!

I was having the same problem with the app crashing, I never even got to listen to it once. However, I did dl the winamp and it streams great. Thanks.

Hey just wanted to say that the app works excellent on my galaxy s2 and i think you guys did a fantastic job. 4.5 stars from me and to get the full five all that should be added is a something that tells you what song is playing
This app didn’t work but Tune In Radio can be downloaded through Marketplace. It plays filth.fm perfectly.
