Dubstep is forever evolving. Each day a new artist comes along with a new sound, or a new idea for how dubstep should be presented to the world. Today, we have decided to give the world a new look for dubstep radio. We are filth.fm, and we have set our goal to become the largest Dubstep radio station on the planet, and hopefully one day we can do the same for Drum and Bass and Grime.

We hope you enjoy the new site, and during this switch over, we thought it would be fun to show you the first ever filth.fm site. This is the only screenshot we have left, and involves a misleading conversation between two people with the same name.

This site was where it all started, and it was a great start to what soon became the talk of the town in the Dubstep community. With more and more people joining the chatroom, we often hit the 80 person cap! The stream was full, and Dubstep heavy, so we took the leap of faith, and invested in not only a brand new stream server, but 3 of them. This allowed us to stream at a different quality and also cover different regions of the world without difficulties. We also spent a week of sleepless nights working on a new website, one that would be updated regularly, and also offer a now playing box.

The new website was crisp and sleek. It featured the forever popular ‘Now Playing’ box, which allowed listeners to view what track was playing, who was playing and even click their name to view their profile. The Dj system allowed DJS to login and update their profile with new mixes, shows and info to enrich the listeners experience. After much planning, and design, a new site was drafted up to push FILTH FM to the place that it belongs. The number one spot for all your Dubstep Needs. Mixes, Blogs, Videos, Charts and most importantly, Live Radio.

The new site has taken Dubstep Radio to a next level. We have moved over to a WordPress design, allowing us to recruit writers from around the globe to post daily dubstep news, and keep you up to date with the biggest Dubstep tracks and Mixes. If you want to apply, please email us at studio@filth.fm We have also started our own Dubstep Chart, to keep you up to date with the newest tracks! We hope you enjoy the new site, please leave your comments below, and we can work together to improve the site, and give you the best experience possible when using Filth.FM
